The Government is guilty of incredible bouts of stupidity. At every turn they cost UK subjects £billions in lost savings.

They keep interfering
The meddling nanny state has ruined so many people's pensions and savings provision it is no wonder there is no confidence in long-term savings, they did it by:

Taxation of pension funds.
Emancipation of PEPs and ISAs.
Introducing new products that nobody wants.

Is there a hidden agenda?
Possibly, the UK once had the most self sufficient pensioners in Europe but this is being eroded daily, why?

Will integration with the EU be easier?
Will it be easier to control the votes of pensioners if they are totally dependant upon means tested State benefits?
